Ghost has released a number of singles and a debut LP in the last 3 years; each of them has garnered critical acclaim as well as strong sales. So strong in fact that Ghost is now regarded as one of the UK's premier up and coming producers.



A Hip-Hop producer and DJ of over ten years experience, Ghost's first EP, 'Ghost Stories', was released in 2003 and introduced Ghost's deeply musical approach. He developed his blueprint of good music with a nod to the past and an eye firmly on the future as another EP 'Let Em Know' and the first single 'The Payoff' taken off his debut LP followed on Breakin Bread Records. A number of his productions for various artists have been released on other well respected labels such as Lowlife Records in the UK.

It's difficult to fully describe his style because Ghost's production refuses to be categorised. It's deep and layered, it's brought a new edge to the Hip Hop scene and is something seldom seen in music these days. Along the way Ghost has picked up a strong following who buy everything he does and Ghost has gained DJ support from the likes of Giles Peterson, Mr Scruff, Skitz, Excalibah, Steve Lamacq, Semtex, and a host of international DJ's. Ghost's growth as a producer has made people realise he's an incredible talent, this has seen his music step out of a solely Hip Hop following and reach a whole new audience but still maintain strong Hip Hop links, think Ninja Tune, DJ Shadow and the like.

Ghost's debut LP/CD 'Seldom Seen Often Heard' was released April 2006, Ghost took his production to the next level to produce perhaps one of the most complete Hip Hop album's yet to emerge from the UK. There's more than your fair share of dancefloor destroyers and headnodding delights on this record, but it is also, at times, challenging, cerebral, and melancholy. A stand out feature in his production is his ability to bring out different moods in people through his music. Another one of Ghost's strengths is his ability to bring the best out of his collaborators. His close relationships with a number of truly gifted MC's from both the UK and USA took the album to another level. This is reflected as the music changes moods a few times and the featured artists follow the music where Ghost takes them.

Behind the scenes Ghost recorded, mixed, produced and arranged all of his debut LP and has also been helping other artists mixing there own projects. Attention to detail and the need to make all products reach a high standard drive his mixing with a strong understanding of how the music should sound. Ghost has been regularly performing live with various artists and DJ'ing all over the UK and Europe over the last couple of years. He also had a regular radio show on London's Itch fm for over 4 years before having to stop due to the time required to continue pushing the music and live shows.
